While this may seem like more of a summertime drink, I think it’s one you can enjoy in any season…especially on a lovely fall afternoon! It’s warming, cheerful, and absolutely delicious! And I have a fabulous Limoncello recipe »HERE« for you to try, too. It’s one of those things you’ll always want to have on hand! Both recipes are just as lovely in the spring and summer as they are in the fall and winter, making them perfect for every season and all the holidays in between :)
This cocktail isn't overly sweet, especially if you're using my homemade Limoncello recipe, where you can adjust the sugar to your liking. Store bought Limoncello tends to be a bit sweeter, so keep that in mind when mixing your drink. If you prefer an even sweeter cocktail, you can always use a sweetened iced tea instead. There are so many ways to make it exactly how you like it!
Ingredients
1 oz Bourbon whiskey
1 1/2 oz Limoncello
4 oz Freshly brewed iced black tea
Lemon slice or wedge…or fresh mint (if you don’t have lemons like me…haha!) for garnish. I even think a cherry would be delicious here!!
Preparation
In a old-fashioned glass , add bourbon and limoncello.
Fill the glass with ice and top with iced tea.
Garnish with garnish of your choice. Serve and enjoy!
